The Astonishing Intelligence of Your Body’s Energy Fields Explained by Donna Eden

Since I began massage therapy training 25 years ago (WOW!) I was introduced to energy healing techniques. It was all new to me. If we accept the fact that all the universe is energy, then believing that each of us are energy as well makes sense.

This begins the exploration of how energy techniques can help us with everyday stresses and injuries. Watch one of the premier leaders in energy healing, Donna Eden, in this video and the explanation of her amazing work.

Find out how energy work bypasses verbal techniques and addresses stress at the energetic level for profound relief.

Understanding and Utilizing Energy for Overall Well-Being

Step 1: Understand the Basics of Energy and Healing

Concept Overview Energy in the body isn't just about electrical impulses; it has intelligence and memory. This means it can guide the healing process and provide feedback to the body. Imagine it as a wise guide that knows what your body needs to heal and maintain balance.

Step 2: Learn About the Triple Warmer Meridian

Concept Overview The triple warmer meridian is a crucial element in regulating the body's fight, flight, or freeze response. It's like a switchboard operator, managing how your body reacts to stress. By understanding this meridian, you can better control your stress responses.

Step 3: Practice Sitting and Holding Your Points

Simple Technique

  • Find a Quiet Space: Choose a comfortable, quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. This could be a cozy corner of your home or a peaceful spot outdoors.

  • Identify Your Points: The triple warmer meridian has specific points on your body:

  • Temples: These are located on the sides of your head, slightly behind your eyes.

  • Behind the Ears: Find the hollow just behind your ear lobes.

  • Hands: The webbing between your thumb and index finger.

  • Hold the Points: Using gentle pressure, hold these points with your fingertips. For example, place your fingers on your temples or behind your ears.

  • Breathe: Close your eyes and take deep, slow breaths. Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a few seconds, and exhale slowly through your mouth. This helps to calm your mind and body.

Step 4: Use Energy Work to Bypass Verbal Techniques

Effective Energy Techniques Energy work can directly address the fight-flight response, bypassing verbal methods. Here are some techniques:

  • Energy Balancing Exercises: These include tracing meridians with your fingers. For example, use your hand to trace a line from your forehead down to your abdomen.

  • Tapping (EFT - Emotional Freedom Techniques): Tap gently on specific points on your face and upper body, such as the side of your hand, the top of your head, and under your eyes, to release stress.

  • Chakra Work: Focus on your chakras (energy centers). Visualize each chakra as a spinning wheel of energy and imagine clearing any blockages. Start from the base of your spine and move upwards to the crown of your head.

Step 5: Embrace the Concept of Intelligent Electrical Fields

Concept Overview Electrical fields in the body have an intelligence that orchestrates the healing process. Think of them as a sophisticated internal system that constantly monitors and adjusts your body’s functions to maintain health and harmony.

Step 6: Recognize the Memory in Neurons and Chakras

Holistic Memory Storage Memory isn’t just stored in neurons; it’s also in the chakras. Each chakra can hold emotionally significant experiences. For instance, the heart chakra may store memories related to love and loss. By understanding this, you can work on releasing emotional blocks through energy practices.

Step 7: Work with Energy for Overall Well-Being

Daily Practice

  • Energy Exercises: Incorporate simple exercises like Qi Gong or Tai Chi into your routine. These slow, deliberate movements help balance your energy.

  • Mindfulness: Practice mindfulness by paying attention to your body’s sensations and energy flow. Spend a few minutes each day in silent meditation, focusing on your breath.

  • Regular Energy Balancing: Schedule regular sessions for energy balancing techniques such as Reiki, acupuncture, or self-massage. These practices help keep your energy flowing smoothly.

The first time I was introduced to Reiki healing and used it for Bruce's achy knees, my life and my practice changed. There are so many simple ways to incorporate raising your energy when you feel lethargic, and so much more. I hope you have enjoyed this blog.
